Update!!!

Noah finally started to talk... Now he repeats everything we say (good and bad). It has been so much fun watching him grow up! He does the funniest things, this makes it really hard for us to stay mad at him. We started to potty train him but I think we will wait a little bit longer. He lets us know when he has to go, but when we put him in his little potty he wants to check every few seconds if there is anything in there. This causes him to go outside of the toilet because he gets up at the wrong time to look.

So we found out that we are having a baby GIRL! I have been going crazy and started making headbands for her, they are super fun and easy to make.

Here is her little foot!

Here are some of the hair pieces I have made.

I am currently 26 weeks pregnant, we cannot wait to meet our girl!

We finally took Noah to Disneyland for the very first time! He had such a great time and so did we. His favorite rides must have been Its a Small World and the train.

Noah loves to see Christmas lights. Every time we drive by some he says "cool lights" or "pretty lights". We decided to take him to the LDS San Diego temple because they have a cool Xmas light display. As soon as we got there he was in LOVE with the lights! We were not able to keep him still during this family picture because there was a plane flying above us. He was more interested in showing us the plane than taking a picture.

He wanted to go pet all the Nativity animals....

Here is our Christmas tree this year! We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

19 month checkup!

Boy, is Noah growing fast!

His stats at his last doctors appointment:
Height: 35 inches (95%) percentile
Weight: 28 lbs (50%) percentile

He had to get some blood work done. That did not go well, he screamed bloody murder the entire time. Poor guy :( When we got home, I served him lunch and the whole time while he was eating he was using just one arm to eat because he had an Ouwee on his other arm... It was so funny to see him rest his arm the whole time. Noah is dressing up as Mickey Mouse for Halloween. At the church trunk or treat, he did not want to leave his costume on. So I told him that the only way that he was going to get candy was if he left it on and said "trick or treat", so he left it on the entire time and kept saying "treat treat".

We can't wait for Nov 3! We will be finding out the sex of our little peanut! I will be 19 weeks in a couple of days and can't wait to meet our new babe!

My little Mickey!

Noah is going to be a Big Brother!

I can't believe that we are going to have another baby! We are so excited and are counting the days until the baby arrives. My due date is March 30, 2011... Noah's original due date was March 31, 2010, so we will see if they will have the same birthdays :) Noah already loves his baby (brother I hope), he knows where the baby is and gives the baby kisses and hugs. I am so excited that Noah is going to be a big brother because I know that he will LOVE the baby.
This is about the size of our baby!

Why we love our boy.........

Noah has the cutest personality ever. He loves to give hugs, kisses, and to make people laugh. I teach sunday school to the 12 year olds, and I had to take him to one of my classes because Ian had to stay home. He wanted to be the center of attention! He started talking to everyone, if he did something and the class laughed... he would do it again and make himself laugh. Needless to say... no one paid attention that sunday. Oh well, who wants to pay attention to the teacher anyway? He barks when he sees a dog, points at it and says "dog", he signs more, loves his doggy, loves his grandparents, loves his aunts & uncles, great-grandmas and of course Mommy and Daddy. He is not much of a talker, but he sure knows how to get what he wants. He loves to dance and spin in circles. He tries to jump... Its hilarious when he tries to do it because he just squats and tries to jump, he can't quite get his feet to go up. WE go to the beach quite often, and Noah loves it! He tries to get in the water... he walks as quickly as he can to get in the water.... too cute, hopefully he is a surfer like daddy. He has two favorite blankies, he drags them around everywhere, its cute but I have to wash them constantly. He loves food and will eat whatever we give him.

Noah has his 12 month checkup at 13 months. He was 25 pounds (45th percentile) , I don't remember how tall he was but he was in the 90th percentile.

Vegan-ish?

Ok, this might sound crazy.... but Ian and I decided to try a VEGAN diet for one month. We LOVE red meat, chicken, dairy, and anything that might come from an animal. We especially LOVE fast food. One might ask why? right? Well Oprah did it again. She had a show sometime in February that challenged her team to be vegan for one week, she had about 378 team members commit to this. Once the challenge was over, many said that their new diet made them feel so much better, not only that, they were able to loose some weight. I am not the best cook, but I try to cook for my family... but there might be weeks were I cook for our family, but most of the time I get lazy or am too tired to cook so we go out and get fast food. OK... So instead of the challenge only lasting for one week at our home.... It will last for ONE full month. We are not allowed to eat meat, fish, chicken, dairy or anything that might come from an animal. We hope to continue eating healthy after our challenge is over with so that Noah grows up in a home that eats healthy. I say vegain-ish because we will try to continue not eating red meat at our home once the challenge is over, but it does not mean that we are not going to be allowed to eat it. I know it going to be hard because we are so used to going out and eating really bad food, but we have to start somewhere. The question is "Can we make it for a full month?" I will keep you posted!

(I just love this picture of Noah's cheeks... I found this picture and just love it, so I thought to include it)

Love to walk, and I am ONE!

My little boy is growing up so fast! He does not talk, but he can sure walk. He started to walk at 10 months and 1 week. I could not believe my eyes! I was doing something and all of a sudden he saw something that he wanted and walked right over to it... I was about 5 steps the first time.

He loves to talk gibberish but he really can't say anything other than Mamma, Dadda, Daddy, Woof Woof when he sees a dog, yum yum when he wants something to eat, tickle tickle, and Min.

He loves to play ball with daddy... he is a really great thrower.

He walks over to daddy as soon as he comes home from work and gives him the biggest hug ever... if daddy does not pay attention to him, he starts crying.

He has a 7:30 bedtime and is a great sleeper... usually wakes up around 7:30-8.

He knows who his family is, if someone comes up to him that he does not know he gets really shy and tries to hide.

He loves going up stairs.

He loves going to the playground.

He absolutely LOVES food, he eats anything and everything.

He still falls asleep with a pacifier and his favorite blanket.

He has been on regular cows milk for about one month and loves it.
